1. How much time do you dedicate to learning design every day?
Well I think I’m learning all the time, on each project there’s something new to discover and learn, because when you’re a designer you’re working for specific audiences and trying to understand what they want. That’s why I really like being a designer.
Also, with Abduzeedo, I had a chance to learn and improve a second language. The blog is in english and my first language is portuguese.
2. What other designers do you have contact with on a regular basis?
Because of the blog I had the chance to exchange emails with designers I really admire, guys such as Guilherme Marconi, James White, Justin Maller and many others.
3. Who are the top 2-3 designers that you respect and why?
There are so many good designers out there that it’s really hard to say the top 2 or 3. I could mention Vitor Lourenco, James White, Jason Santa Maria, Doug Bowman, Carlos Segura, David Carson, James White….

4. What’s your favorite website or design you ever made and why?
For me Abduzeedo.com is the best because it’s my personal project and I can try different things :)
5. Have you ever been published in a book or magazine? What books or magazines?
Yes, I was featured in some magazines such as .Net Magazine, Photoshop Advanced, Digital Arts, Webdesigner.
6. What’s your favorite color in hexadecimal? How often do you find yourself leaning towards it with design projects?
I really like dark colors for backgrounds, one of my favorite colors is
#222222.
7. What’s your most recent project we can look at?
I’m finishing the new Abduzeedo design that will be up pretty soon, also we’re working on an iPhone app and there’s the daily.abduzeedo.com that we’re still working on it.
