1. How much time do you dedicate to learning design every day?
Since I’ve been freelancing full time, I’ve been really busy so I can’t really say that I allot some time for learning but I try to learn as much as I can every day.
2. What other designers do you have contact with on a regular basis?
Just the guys I follow on Twitter but we don’t really chat that often.
3. Who are the top 2-3 designers that you respect and why?
Chris Spooner,
Veerle Pieters and most of all
Michael Heald of FullyIllustrated.com. These guys are really talented! They’re all really nice guys, too!
4. What’s your favorite website or design you ever made and why?
I’m gonna have to say my site Dawghouse Design Studio. I’ve designed a couple of sites that I love but this site is what I’m very passionate about at the moment.
5. Have you ever been published in a book or magazine? What books or magazines?
Yes. .NET and Web Designer You can find the issue numbers on my blog.
6. What’s your favorite color in hexadecimal? How often do you find yourself leaning towards it with design projects?
#ffcc00. I almost always use that when it comes to personal projects but other than that, I try to use other colors depending on what kind of look a certain project requires. That one’s a bit to bright and bubbly!
7. What’s your most recent project we can look at?
I’m sorry, they aren’t online yet :)
