Paddy Donnelly chasing design birds

1. How much time do you dedicate to learning design every day?
‘Learning design’ doesn’t have to be reading design books or following tutorials. You can constantly improve your design skills by visiting art galleries, reading magazines, getting inspired by others, sketching, reading blogs and doing projects. So I would say I’m constantly learning each day, so about 14 hours maybe?

2. What other designers do you have contact with on a regular basis?
Having a connection to the Internet means I’m in contact with hundreds of other designers on a daily basis using Twitter, Skype, Facebook, Email, Blogs etc. I am part of the design team at Nascom nascom.be and get to work with some really cool people face to face there every day.

3. Who are the top 2-3 designers that you respect and why?
Tim Van Damme timvandamme.com,
Lee Munroe leemunroe.com and
Dustin Curtis dustincurtis.com would be among the designers I respect the most. They have superior design skills and produce work that is repeatingly impressive and inspirational.
