Image Terrain Pattern Maker Review
Played around with a new pattern making software online called ImageTerrain. It says it’s useful for fine artists, a textile designers, a photographers and commercial artists who want to create the most beautiful geometric shapes, abstracts, medallions, scrolls, ethnics, batiks, ikats, stripes and plaids instantly. Well, with all that being said, the first thing I noticed was “textile” and that means “fabric”, and that has nothing to do with me. I’m glad I went ahead and checked out this product after seeing it’s capabilities. It’s like a kaleidoscope maker for my screen. These are a 2 of the images I made into patterns just to see the range of the software.

Image Terrain Pattern
This one is a cool pattern I made with a pixelated 30×30 jpg I was using on the home page here at BoxedinDesign. Even with such a crap image it still made a cool pattern.

Best part is you can upload a jpeg up to 15 mgs in size and a maximum 4500×4500 pixels! Now that’s clarity in an image! These guys who developed this software were not making a little toy you can get some ideas out of when you get tired of making typography. This is a quality web app that allows you to see your images in so many new ways. There are large amounts of things you can do that I can’t even think of with Image Terrain. Show me what you made in the comments.

It has to be said – *I wasn’t paid to write anything above. They did turn the account on so I could review it but that didn’t change my opinions.
